This new Procurement leader will play a strategic role in building a next-generation approach to Procurement as it transforms to become a trusted business partner and an enabler of key business strategy, along with customer of choice for suppliers. Mid-Stream Operations Lead is responsible for operationalizing and expanding mid-stream procurement strategies to align with business goals. This role’s objectives include optimizing middle office operations, spearheading low-touch category management, and supervising execution of operational sourcing and contract management processes. The lead will also be responsible for cultivating team’s functional knowledge and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality outcomes
•Develop and oversee execution of sourcing strategies, ensuring successful delivery and management of cross-divisional sourcing projects that align with organization’s strategic goals
•Define strategic value drivers and comprehensive annual plans for low-touch categories, incorporating category strategies that align with Category Team initiatives and priorities
•Supervise operational sourcing and contract management processes such as development and negotiation of confidential agreements, ensuring adherence to agreed category strategies and polices
•Spearhead low-touch category management from initiation to completion, providing strategic direction and subject matter expertise to ensure successful delivery of initiatives and objectives
•Cultivate team's understanding of approved buying channels and contracting policies through training and development, empowering them to guide stakeholders toward optimal purchasing strategies
•Establish key performance indicators in collaboration with functional leadership, and develop action plans to enhance performance by setting measurable goals and implementing targeted strategies for improvement
•Drive continuous improvement in mid-stream operations by leveraging insights on products and priorities to adapt processes that align with business needs, ensuring sustainable adoption of changes
•Lead and nurture a team of specialists by setting ambitious performance targets, providing tailored coaching, and evaluating team performance, fostering culture of excellence and innovation
•Serve as subject matter expert on mid-stream operations, providing guidance and insights to internal teams and relevant stakeholders groups to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
•Champion cross-functional collaboration and forge strategic partnerships with other teams to ensure alignment and drive operational excellence

Qualifications
•BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related degrees; MBA/MS preferred
•8-10 years of Procurement experience, including over 10 years in a leadership role; pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred
•5+ years of Source-to-Pay experience preferred, with proven experience in managing low-touch category strategies, and sourcing and contracting processes within global context
•Proven track record in managing low-touch category strategy and executing successful negotiations
•Proficient in budget management and operational oversight, ensuring adherence to standards and priorities
•5+ years of experience working with Source-to-Pay systems (i.e. Coupa, SAP S/4HANA)
•Innovative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking combined with a solution-oriented mindset, enabling creative approaches that challenge the status quo and clear communication at all organizational levels
•Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of delivering transparent, comprehensive reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and organizational accountability
•Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and business stakeholder management abilities, supported by exceptional soft skills and emotional intelligence to facilitate effective communication and robust relationship-building
•Impactful executive functioning abilities and autonomous work ethic, maintaining efficient performance in challenging situations and building consensus in decision-making

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $137,500 - $261,000
