Job Summary:

Comprehensive knowledge applied to performing skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Works with relevant functions to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Thoroughly understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. Acts as a formal resource leading and coordinating others. Quickly and effectively adapts to change in the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard. Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments. Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system. Ensures all process documents and quality procedures are updated and acts as a resource to provide help to others. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality inspections. Delivery Fully proficient performing skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities. Leads and coordinates others acting as a formal resource for team members with less capability. Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks. Performs other duties as required to meet business goals. Work with peers and support staff to: Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints Solve problems and improve processes Actively identify issues and implement solutions Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. QUALIFICATIONS

Job Summary

Supervise and co-ordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team by co-ordination of team members, achievement of functional KPI’s / targets and housekeeping.

Provides detailed reactive and proactive technical guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing technical tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities ensuring performance standards, standard work, business values and ethical standards are maintained.

Demonstrated technical knowledge within ME and maintenance function. Identifies skill set gaps within the team, drives continuous improvement, drives and implements changes in current processes and equipment to reduce safety incidents and increase equipment uptime.

Key Responsibilities

Ensures team members are using and following safety protocols. Lead, develop and highlight training needs within the team.

As a technical lead assist with the completion of COMET investigations representing the maintenance function. Drive engagement in safety investigations and initiatives within the team.

Supervise and co-ordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team by co-ordination of team members, live issues, and achievement of functional KPI’s / targets.

Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing technical tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities ensuring performance standards, standard work, business values and ethical standards are maintained.

Conduct structured daily start and end of shift meetings. Ensure Work orders are clearly documented and in alignment with Maximo expectations.

Co-ordinate apprentice on the job training in alignment with the apprenticeship criteria and department goals.

Lead the team with a continuous improvement mindset through lessons learnt and data analysis. Drive departmental ownership of known and ongoing issues.

Work cross-functionally to recommend improvements and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of team.

Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments, providing development opportunities to the team in co-ordination with department manager.

Work in alignment with department manager to coach and mentor team members. Provide input and suggestions toward annual reviews and performance management. Assists management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime needs to meet production and delivery schedules.

Experience

Requires significant technical maintenance and troubleshooting experience and specialized skills obtained through education, training and on the job experience.

Additional responsibilities unique to this position

Demonstrated technical skill set and capability to understand and resolve downtime instances in relation to CRP equipment, processes, and systems.
