Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a focus on both industrial and facilities maintenance. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and is based in Canton, OH. The role operates on the 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (occasionally 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM).
Responsibilities
Perform shop maintenance on industrial equipment.
Conduct facilities maintenance on commercial fixtures and lawn care.
Make repairs and troubleshoot any shop equipment, assisting the production team with breakdowns or services.
Frequently repair pneumatic compressors and pumps.
Perform basic repairs on electrical motors, lighting, and other components (224v-480v).
Carry out mechanical repairs on mobile equipment as needed.
Perform basic CNC maintenance; training and help desk support will be provided.
Maintain saws, drills, presses, and other equipment.
Carry out facilities maintenance on light fixtures or plumbing as required.
Perform basic lawn care maintenance when necessary.
Essential Skills
Mechanical maintenance with 5+ years of experience in industrial/facilities maintenance.
Experience with pneumatic and pump maintenance.
Basic electrical maintenance skills (224v-480v).
Mechanical inclination for repairing woodwork and shop equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with hand and power tools, hydraulics, motors, plumbing, lighting, and repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Advanced electrical knowledge is a plus.
Experience with CNC repair is a plus.
Woodworking knowledge or experience is preferred.
Self-starter with a positive attitude.

Work Environment
Our work environment is climate-controlled and well-lit, operating in a wood shop setting. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with rare Saturday work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr.
