Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to set up and operate 225-ton Bystronic and 150-ton LVD Strippit press brake machines. The role involves working directly from blueprints and handling sheet metal thicknesses ranging from 20 gauge up to 3/8 inch. You will be responsible for handling an average of 2-5 setups per day and ensuring familiarity with tolerances of +/-1 degree. Additionally, you will assist with preventative maintenance for all fabrication equipment being used.
Responsibilities
Setup and operate 225-ton Bystronic and 150-ton LVD Strippit press brake machines
Work directly off blueprints
Handle sheet metal thicknesses ranging from 20 gauge up to 3/8 inch
Handle an average of 2-5 setups per day
Ensure familiarity with tolerances of +/-1 degree
Assist with preventative maintenance for all fabrication equipment being used
Essential Skills
2+ years of press brake operating experience
Blueprint reading
Use of shop math for converting between decimals, percentages, and fractions
Experience with CNC press brake, sheet metal, fabrication, and brake press machines
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Possess mathematical problem-solving ability
Demonstrate appropriate use of various measuring equipment
Material identification – steel, aluminum, stainless

Work Environment
The work environment is spacious with fairly new equipment, including a year-old 225-ton Bystronic press brake. The company is experiencing growth and continuous improvement in national sales, with plans to buy a new building in the future. The position is for the 2nd shift: 4x10 schedule from Monday to Thursday, 3 PM - 1:30 AM, with overtime available on Friday. Some flexibility in scheduling is available upon prior agreement with the reporting manager.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
