Sodexo Senior Manager – Supply Management, Risk Management in NORTH BETHESDA, Maryland
Role Overview
Sodexo is currently seeking a Senior Manager Risk Management. This is a virtual position, and the successful candidate may office anywhere in the US.
The Senior Manager Risk Management will be responsible for managing commodity market risk exposure. They will apply risk management principles toward commodity markets to assist in developing market prices and projections. They will work with finance putting together indices for internal and external inflation. As well as assist in RFP discussions when looking at formula, market-based approaches and possible hedging opportunities.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize exposure
Monitor and report on market trends and risks
Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes that might affect risk management strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business initiatives
Manage relationships with preferred suppliers and clients
Act as a resource for colleagues and provide insight into markets and trends
Data management for tracking, monitoring, projecting inflation
Updating indices for internal and external inflation
Develop and maintain market prices and projections
What You Bring
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and collaborative environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental supply chain theories, principles and concepts.
Advanced skill level with Excel Spreadsheets, Word and PowerPoint.

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
Basic Functional Experience: 1-3 years
