Job Title: Warehouse Worker 2nd Shift
Job Description
The main function of a warehouse worker is to receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This role involves various tasks including order pulling, packing, labeling, and operating equipment.
Responsibilities
Sunday - Thursday 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Use carts to pull orders and prepare them for shipping.
Work with printing labels, counting, and scanning items.
Match slips to items received and put away in warehouse locations/stock.
Transfer items from one facility to another, checking quantities.
Pack items into Gaylord boxes, unpack items onto shelves.
Operate forklifts, primarily cherry pickers, but also sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Training provided if no prior experience.
Adjust shelves as needed.
Use paper pick tickets to match part numbers and quantities.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Receive and count stock items, record data manually, verify inventory computations, and investigate discrepancies.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner, mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, report any damage to supervisors.
Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted

Comfortable working in a 60,000 sqft warehouse that is not climate-controlled (hot in summer, cold in winter)
Must not be afraid of heights due to upper-level work in the warehouse
Ability to work at a fast pace accurately

Work Environment
Work in a 60,000 sqft warehouse that is not climate-controlled, meaning it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Continuous standing and walking on concrete or metal grated floors are required throughout the shift. The role involves lifting, carrying, and working at heights.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.94 - $17.94/hr.
