Job Duties: Research conditions in local, regional, national, or online markets, gather information to determine potential sales of a product or service, and then plan a marketing or advertising campaign. Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution. Employ search marketing tactics, analyze web metrics, and develop recommendations to increase search engine ranking and visibility to target markets. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Establish business marketing management methods and compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, and verify information and data collected during marketing research. Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs. Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborate with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data. Based on the data and information discovered in market research, develop and implement modernized procedures for the Company to augment and maximize the efficiency of its marketing campaign, and identify areas for increased efficiency.
Degree Requirements: Bachelor's in Economics, Administration, or Marketing major.
Work Experience Requirement:
24 months of employment experience as a Market Research Analyst or any similar position.
