Job Summary:
Nome Dental is looking to hire a motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist to provide high-quality care to patients. The position typically involves working with patients Monday through Thursday, with most Fridays off or as a day for office tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a dentist.
Welcome and prepare patients for dental services.
Assist the dentist during dental services, including handing instruments and maintaining a sterile and organized operatory.
Perform clinical duties including preparation and sterilization of equipment.
Utilize radiography equipment during services according to regulations.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Manage medical records and appointments.
May assist with billing and coding information for insurance.
Qualifications:
No degree or high school diploma required.
Must be willing and able to learn while on the job.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with patients of all ages preferred.
