S&P Global Cyber Risk and Compliance Analyst in Noida, India

Position Summary

This position within the Cyber Risk and Compliance team designed to provide support to the Market Intelligence division to drive compliance to organizational policies and standards. The candidate’s time will be divided between working directly on approaches to assist the Division to reach broad compliance to organizational standards and assisting product teams through the Internal Audit processes.

  • Form partnerships and work closely with corporate and divisional groups. Seek information and work to understand their goals in order to influence approaches and outcomes driven by these groups, particularly Internal Audit.

  • Become familiar with Market Intelligence regarding audit processes and overall company and divisional cyber security policies, standards, processes, and controls.

  • Work with individual product teams to gain understanding of products, supporting technologies and existing compliance documentation.

  • Assist with review of, and potentially creation of, required documentation as appropriate to meet compliance requirements.

  • Make recommendations and provide guidance to business and technical teams through the internal assessments and audit processes to simplify activities and drive best outcome for Market Intelligence division.

  • Track assessment and audit outcomes, management responses to address findings, follow up activities, and create reports for executives and management.

  • Respond to emerging requests and compliance requirements as they arise.

  • Identify and drive opportunities to highlight Markit Intelligence’s compliance position and activities.

Perform additional tasks and take additional responsibility as directed by team manager.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years in progressively more responsible roles with 5+ years of considerable experience conducting audits or responding to audits, and 5+ years with a major financial or in a financial products industry.

  • A strong comprehension of Information/Cyber Security.

  • Proven record of successful relationship building leading to successful outcomes

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a global team across multiple time zones.

  • Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to remain flexible and negotiate appropriate outcomes.

  • Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects efficiently while maintaining flexibility as priorities shift. Demonstrates persistence in arriving at solutions.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess complex information and develop creative solutions.

  • Cultivates strong working relationships with internal colleagues.
