S&P Global Associate – Audit & Operational Controls in Noida, India

Risk & Operational Controls – A horizontal function providing Risk and operational controls support across the business lines of Enterprise Solutions group of S&P Global - Market Intelligence Division. The Risk and Operational Controls team focuses on supporting Compliance Audits, both internal and external, independent third party audits such as SOC1 and SOC2, ISO27001 and drives periodical IT compliance activities and reviews, handle RFPs and client IT due diligence questionnaires, etc.

We are seeking an experienced, technically strong candidate with strong skillsets to facilitate and support compliance audits. Focus of this role is on Information Security and Regulatory Compliance processes through collaboration across multiple business lines and functions within and outside the firm, working closely with stakeholders, operations and development teams.

Requirements & Responsibilities.

  • Apply strong analytical and good program management skills together with investigative techniques to identify compliance and regulatory requirements and effectively guide the teams on implementing appropriate controls across systems and processes.

  • Facilitate and support independent third-party audits such as SOC1, SOC2, ISO audits etc.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills valuable for managing Audits and working collaboratively with other teams

  • Work on tooling, solutions, and automation of operational control functions

Education and experience

  • University Graduate with at least a bachelor’s degree with focus on Information Technology, Information Security and/or Regulatory Compliance

  • Minimum 1 year experience in conducting or supporting Audits (ISO, SOC or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of security techniques and tools related to information security

Commercial awareness

  • Knowledge of, or experience in working in the financial services industry would be a plus

  • Excellent understanding of software systems and technology

  • Good understanding of software support team functions and a solid understanding of the end-to-end application development process

  • A strong desire to keep up with all of the latest developments in related technologies

Personal impact

  • Confident individual who can represent the team at various levels

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to carry out business impact analysis and prioritize tasks according to severity and importance

Communication

  • Must be a strong communicator both written and verbally in English

  • Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly languages

Teamwork

  • Ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of working independently as well as contribute to the team’s requirements
