Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The General Maintenance Technician ensures that equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility are in optimal condition. This includes performing preventive maintenance, acute maintenance, adjustments, and participating in validation and replacements. Candidates will oversee the Building, Warehouse, Extrusion, Packaging, and Dip Line areas, rotating through all rather than being assigned to one specific area.
Responsibilities
Follow the maintenance schedule for adjustment, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of all equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility.
Perform preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility.
Conduct acute maintenance or replacement of parts in or on the equipment, machinery, installations, and facility as needed.
Support operators, process technicians, and leadership when problems occur with the equipment, machinery, installations, and facility.
Follow lock out/tag out and all applicable safety procedures when working on machines, equipment, installations, or the facility.
Use all required safety gear when working on machines, equipment, installations, or the facility.
Essential Skills
Ability to read schematics
Experience with pneumatics
Good character
Troubleshooting skills
Experience in preventive maintenance
Experience with Fanuc robots
Knowledge of injection molding
Cylinder repair skills
Ability to manage work orders
Pump control knowledge
Welding skills
HVAC experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-year technical schooling degree acceptable for entry-level candidates
Tech I: Degree or certification in a related field and/or 2 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility
Tech II: Degree in a related field and/or 5 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility
Tech III: Degree in a related field and/or 7 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility
Lead, Maintenance: Experience in a maintenance leadership position and/or 7 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility

Work Environment
You will be working on the manufacturing floor 100% of the time, specifically in the plastics mold and extrusion division alongside a team of other technicians and engineers. This clean environment requires gowning up before entering the plant and adhering to FDA guidelines. The facility includes multiple divisions and products, with a café and office space available if needed. You will primarily be working on the floor with 16 injection molding and extrusion machines. Candidates will train on the 1st shift (7am-3pm) and then transition to an off-shift: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with a $0.50 premium or 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with a $1 premium, Sunday-Thursday night.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
