Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. A candidate with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of garage door products and services is preferred. This position will involve assisting customers with selecting and purchasing garage doors, openers, and accessories, as well as providing product information and recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide assistance in selecting appropriate products and services that meet their needs.
- Education customers about features, benefits, and options available for different garage door products, openers, and accessories.
- Listen to customer needs and preferences to recommend products that best suit their requirements.
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases and address any questions or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in sales training and professional development activities as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong aptitude with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of garage door products, openers, and accessories is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills is required.
- Experience with Google Docs preferred.
- Experience with Quickbooks preferred.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems, and/or inventory management systems preferred.
