Kuehne+Nagel Road Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Nieuw-Amsterdam, Netherlands

Your Role

We are looking for a passionate Road Logistics Customer Care Specialist employee to support our Road Logistics team in Nieuw-Amsterdam. In this versatile role you are an important link between customer, outside sales and operational departments when it comes to commercial, customer service and administrative activities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with existing customers, ensuring seamless communication and support.

  • Oversee new orders, ensuring data accuracy and promptly resolving any discrepancies.

  • Review and validate invoices and other essential documents to maintain accurate records.

  • Coordinate customer orders with the Operational Care Centre Team, ensuring smooth execution within operational systems.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to effectively manage and enhance relationships with your existing customer portfolio.

  • Provide proactive advice and consultancy to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing any issues or complaints with a solution-oriented approach.

  • Monitor internal data and customer KPIs, aligning them with customer expectations, and driving continuous improvement through actionable insights.

  • Streamline administrative processes, ensuring they are efficient, controlled, and successful, while applying your flexibility and problem-solving skills to achieve positive outcomes.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Previous experience in road freight and/or customer service is beneficial.

  • Ability to handle both order management and some finance-related responsibilities.

  • Strong team player with the capability to work independently.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and distinguish between main and secondary issues.

  • Customer- and service-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent command of both English and Dutch.
