SAP America, Inc. Senior Business Process Consultant in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Business Process Consultant in Newtown Square, PA to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions and map business processes to solution requirements. Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across multiple solutions (On-premise, Cloud and Hybrid), applying state-of the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific lines of business or industries. Support and deliver solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support pre-sales activities. Support escalated projects. Ensure responsibility as a project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and solutions training to customer project members. Support partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates and content. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Utilize comprehensive understanding of the relevant section of the SAP services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas. Deliver according to project specification s and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Support solution testing and issue resolution. Mentor business process consultants. 

Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field of study and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept pre-Bachelor's experience. Employer will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field of study and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Position requires 4 years of experience involving each of the following:

  • Perform root-cause analysis by reviewing the ABAP code and provide optimization recommendations to avoid any performance issues;
  • Identify potential performance issues and map to the technical customer code objects;
  • ABAP data dictionary, modification and enhancement;
  • SAP S4/Hana;
  • Custom Code Impact Analysis;
  • Central governance of WRICEF's by implementing quality checks and integrating with the ABAP Transport Management or ChaRM; and
  • ABAP programming and Restful ABAP programming.

Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,133 - $134,370. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,133 - $152,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
