Pennswood Village Server in Newtown, Pennsylvania
This employer will be on-site conducting interviews at our Multi-Industry Career/Job Fair which will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at PA CareerLink® Bucks County, 4800 E. Street Rd., Trevose, PA 19053. The Job Fair hours are 2:00 PM -- 4:30 PM. Pennswood Village, a nationally recognized retirement community in Newtown, PA is seeking a Full-time Server for days.
Full-time positions are offered:

Under direct supervision, the *Server *is responsible for providing direct dining service including
- Assists with daily dining service functions
- Assist in patient tray assembly
- Provide direct dining service according to established guidelines
- Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations
- Bus and reset the dining rooms according to established guidelines
- Cashiering: operate touch screen register, process meal counts, total daily receipts
- Operate and clean grill, Panini grill and sandwich preparation, coffee brewing equipment, soda dispenser and juice machine
- Serve meals and assist residents with menu selections
- Assemble and deliver nourishments for skilled and personal care facilities
- Clean and sanitize assigned work areas
- Maintain an appropriate professional appearance at all times
Position Requirements
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Able to communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
- Able to follow instructions and work well with others.
- Ability to follow routine assignments; seeking supervisory help if problem arises.
- Able to work in a team environment and is sensitive to the needs of an aging population.
