Pennswood Village Server in Newtown, Pennsylvania

This employer will be on-site conducting interviews at our Multi-Industry Career/Job Fair which will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at PA CareerLink® Bucks County, 4800 E. Pennswood Village, a nationally recognized retirement community in Newtown, PA is seeking a Full-time Server for days.

Full-time positions are offered:

Under direct supervision, the *Server *is responsible for providing direct dining service including

  • Assists with daily dining service functions
  • Assist in patient tray assembly
  • Provide direct dining service according to established guidelines
  • Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations
  • Bus and reset the dining rooms according to established guidelines
  • Cashiering: operate touch screen register, process meal counts, total daily receipts
  • Operate and clean grill, Panini grill and sandwich preparation, coffee brewing equipment, soda dispenser and juice machine
  • Serve meals and assist residents with menu selections
  • Assemble and deliver nourishments for skilled and personal care facilities
  • Clean and sanitize assigned work areas
  • Maintain an appropriate professional appearance at all times

Position Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Able to communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
  • Able to follow instructions and work well with others.
  • Ability to follow routine assignments; seeking supervisory help if problem arises.
  • Able to work in a team environment and is sensitive to the needs of an aging population.
