job summary:
Growing Manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Materials Manager. This position is located near Newtown, Pennsylvania. The Materials Manager will oversee a team of 10 employees and be responsible for all aspects of purchasing, inventory planning, operations support, and the stockroom.
The salary is commensurate with experience ranging up to $140K, plus bonus potential, relocation assistance, and other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

responsibilities:
Maintain and implement production planning, purchasing, and scheduling systems to ensure minimum safety stock levels are maintained and customer shipment needs are met
Analyze current inventory levels and trends to develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory, ensuring a balance between supply and demand
Foster relationships with suppliers to establish strategic partnerships
