We are currently seeking pipe fitters for the Process/Utility Piping Systems in Valdosta, GA.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and P&ID's
Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains process and utility piping systems.
Inspects work site to determine presence of obstructions and determine proper pipe path clearance.
Cuts pipe using saws, pipe cutter, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine.
Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to process and production equipment
Perform planned maintenance, inspection and installation on process and production equipment
Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards and protect self and others

Experience Required:
Ability to keep work ahead of welders
OSHA 10/30 Certified
Using facing tools, Fischer saws, and other process related tools
General knowledge of piping layout and routing
Knowledge of general piping systems
Combination fitter/welder is a plus

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills
Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions

Abilities:
Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs., seeing and reading
