Pay : $46.52/hour (dependent on experience and skillset)

Key qualifications :
Five years’+ experience in Heavy Equipment repair required
Excellent Organizational and Communication skills
Strong computer proficiency and ability to utilize multiple systems
Supervisory experience a plus
Clean valid license, CDL a plus
Responsibilities:
Successfully deliver and sell construction rental service of recognized superior value by providing necessary key resources (people, tooling, materials, equipment, and time)
Communicate with customer, directly or through service manager, on work to be performed
Manage new and used rental equipment prep work and turn-around work
Check in - TA all equipment arriving for repairs
Assign and advise mechanics as to work to be performed
Order material as needed for job
Process jobs to be billed on daily basis
Maximize the effective and efficient use of the construction service processes to provide fast and accurate service and minimize unnecessary expense
Review daily timecards and follow job progress
Track and address work available vs. staffing levels
Continually review and improve processes
Assist in troubleshooting repairs
Successfully build and maintain a culture of safety through successful completion of all safety initiatives and enforcing safe work habits
Conduct weekly safety meetings and ensure monthly safety audits for work area are complete
Ensure timely communication of safety issues to direct supervisor with appropriate paperwork
Ensure all new hires within work area complete safety orientation requirements within thirty days
Ensure all direct reports have completed Pure Safety assignments by due date
Maintain the shop in a cost-effective manner to provide a safe, pleasant and efficient working environment.
Maintain the shop in a clean and uncluttered state
Maintain all shop equipment in sound working order
Ensure all shop equipment is operating safely
Qualifications:
Five years’+ experience in Heavy Equipment repair required
Excellent Organizational and Communication skills
Strong computer proficiency and ability to utilize multiple systems
Supervisory experience a plus
Clean valid license, CDL a plus
Physical Requirements:
Standing and walking
Lifting (up to 60lbs.)
Carrying (up to 50lbs.)
Push/pull (up to 80lbs.)
Sitting, rotation and forward bending (sitting and standing)
Hand coordination and reaching
Grip (30lbs. with both hands, 80lbs. with preferred/single hand)
Foot pedal operation
Climbing stairs and ladders
Crawling, low work (kneeling), and awkward positioning
Outdoor work (as required)
Wearing 10-20lbs. of protective clothing, including fire resistant clothing, welding helmet/shield, & ANSI-rated protective footwear (as required)
