Sage Foundation Coordinator

Job Description:

In this role, you'll support regional partnerships, lead fundraising and volunteering events, and engage employees in impactful initiatives. Working with a variety of stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in delivering Sage’s mission to break down barriers and create opportunities for all. Flexible working options available.

This is a hybrid position in our Winnersh or Newcastle office (in-office 3 days a week).

Key Responsibilities:

Grant Management:

• Assist in monitoring grant-funded projects

• Create, manage, and encourage engagement opportunities that enhance Sage Foundation's presence in regional communities.

• Support UKI Lead to build relationships with top-level stakeholders, including regional executive teams, community leaders, non-profit organizations, and strategic partners.

Colleague Engagement:

• Manage the regional volunteering program, including organising and promoting employee volunteering activities, building relationships with local non-profits and community groups and tracking of volunteer hours and participation.

• Support the planning and execution of fundraising events.

• Lead on the development, expansion and management of the UKI ambassador programme. Continue to build relationships in all regional offices by visiting regularly and being visible in every region.

Operational Management:

• Manage the regional budget for all programming costs.

• Collaborate with the Communications function to drive story telling across

• Maintain the regional database and Sage Foundation reporting system, ensuring it is up-to-date and informative. Provide data for monthly and annual reports.

• Manage regional impact measurement and evaluation reports for Sage Foundation activities.

• Work with Sage Foundation UKI Lead to plan and deliver high profile/large scale Foundation projects, events and strategic initiatives across the region.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a passionate, community-minded individual with previous experience in corporate giving or working with a charity partner. You'll be aligned with the Sage Foundation’s vision and able to inspire colleagues to get involved. As a dynamic self-starter, you’ll build on our existing philanthropic work and help shape a clear vision for the future. You’ll be a strong collaborator—comfortable leading and rolling up your sleeves—while building impactful relationships across the regional and global non-profit sector. A confident communicator and influencer, you’ll engage with people at all levels and navigate global differences with ease. You'll be target-driven, removing barriers to achieve ambitious goals. Ideally, you’ll also bring experience managing teams (directly or indirectly) and understand how to use data to evaluate impact and support strategic decision-making.
