Edwards Lifesciences Customer Service Representative in Newbury, United Kingdom

We have an opening in our friendly Customer Solutions team. This role is working on a 12-month maternity cover, based in our Newbury office.

How you’ll make an impact:

Order Management

  • You will be responsible for order management during the whole process of order life cycle - order entering to JDE system, checking the order etc

  • Managing the customer request and checking the availability of the inventory

  • Following up with the customer as appropriate

  • Backorder reporting

  • Processing the orders of consignment stock

  • Support physical consignment checks (resolve discrepancies in cooperation with the sales team)

  • Credit order management - If applicable in cooperation with Bids and Tenders ensuring correctness and reliability of price information in the system - price revision, adjustments

  • Ship to creation and maintaining system records

Complaint management

  • Returned goods management and documentation handling and problems solving

  • Communication with QA and other departments

Additional office duties such as archiving and categorizing relevant documents and projects work as needed.

What you'll need (Required):

  • Equivalent 2 years previous related experienceBachelor's Degree desirable

What else we look for:

  • Advanced computer skills including usage of MS Office

  • Previous experience in a customer facing environment

  • Experience with an ERP software such as Salesforce would be an advantage.

  • Experience and or knowledge of Medical Devices, NHS or related fields would be desirable but is not essential

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Availability to work under pressure

  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to negotiate and resolve difficult situations Excellent problem-solving skills
