Regional Environmental and RMP Leader Location(s): Granville, OH, US, 43023-1200 Function: Envir, Health and Safety Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: On Site Requisition ID: 64840 ARegional Environmental and RMP Leaderprovides environmental and Risk Management Program (RMP) expertise for the Insulation business plus strategic guidance and operational support to all assigned sites. Successful leaders in this role will be highly motivated self-starters who can partner with theEHS Director to set EHS strategy and balance tactical execution against an overall strategic plan. The Regional Environmental and RMP Leader must have proven experience managing environmental and RMP compliance, aligning and engaging leaders, recognizing and managing environmental and process safety risk, and building talent. Facilities will range in size, complexity, and maturity. The Regional Environmental and RMP Leader must be competent in leading high-performing teams as well as elevating the performance and skills of high-touch, high-need sites. There is flexibility of primary work location to include:at or near manufacturing sites in the US or Canada within the span of control, and resident offices in the US. Reports to: Global EHS Director, Insulation Operations Span of Control: Owens Corning Foam plants, including: Tallmadge, OH; Tallmadge R&D facility, Gresham, OR: Rockford, IL; Cortland, IL; Russellville, AR; and Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada; as well as the Nephi, UT; Lakeland, FL; and Mt. Vernon, OH insulation plants. Additionally, will provide program management support for Division environmental, RMP and sustainability programs, as needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee Environmental Compliance with Governmental Regulations and Corporate Programs The Regional Environmental and RMP Leader is primarily responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with all environmental permits and applicable environmental regulations for each site under their responsibility. Additionally, the Regional Environmental and RMP Leader supports plants to meet governmental and corporate sustainability requirements. This includes: Supporting sites to complete environmental permit and legal requirement reviews, ensuring sites have a complete understanding of all environmental requirements and methods of verification, and that those requirements are built into site management systems Overseeing and verifying that the compliance calendars for each site include all regulatory requirements Providing support to plants to complete environmental permit applications, modifications and renewals Ensuring sites submit accurate and complete environmental reporting Ensuring sites are effectively addressing enforcement actions from local, state or federal agencies Ensuring sites are effectively addressing deficiencies in internal environmental and sustainability audits Providing technical support in identifying and resolving environmental regulatory issues Assisting sites to identify and engage outside consultants and experts, as needed Assisting sites with strategies to meet corporate sustainability objectives.
