Plant Maintenance Buyer
Pay Rate: $22 Per Hour

Location: NEWARK OH 43055
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am/9 am start time, 4 hours a day
Job Description:
As a Plant Maintenance Buyer you will be responsible for purchasing parts and materials for maintenance operations.
This role involves controlling inventory by maintaining accurate records of purchasing, locating, retrieving, and shipping maintenance materials and parts to ensure optimal day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
Source, order, issue, and coordinate shipping of maintenance parts/materials using CMMS.
Maintain price lists/quotations, resolve invoice discrepancies, and analyze market pricing.
Advise management on market conditions and make price comparisons to ensure best values.
Maintain an accurate vendor/supplier list in CMMS.
Negotiate short-term contracts, consolidate shipments, and control commodity inventory.
Conduct annual physical inventory of central stock.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience in maintenance operations.
Basic math skills.
Basic knowledge of operations and production processes.
Desired:
- Previous food manufacturing experience.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
