WHAT WE OFFER The Data Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to apply their analytical skills and technical knowledge to real-world business problems. Working closely with an experienced Operational Excellence Department and cross-functional teams including Process Engineers, Reliability Engineers, and Production Management, the intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and using data to drive insights and decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious student to develop their data analytics abilities in a corporate setting. Key Responsibilities: Assist with data collection, cleaning, and preparation tasks Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies Create data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present findings Support the development of reports, presentations, and other data-driven deliverables Collaborate with colleagues from multiple countries. Participate in site meetings and learning opportunities WHAT YOU OFFER Basic Qualifications: Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, etc. Preferred Qualifications: Strong academic performance with coursework in statistics, programming, and databases Background or interest in chemical, manufacturing, or related industries Familiarity with programming languages SQL. Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) Familiarity with lean methodologies Knowledge and Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities Good communication and collaboration skills Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn This internship provides valuable exposure to the data analysis lifecycle and how to transform data into actionable insights within a corporate environment.
