Key Responsibilities:
The Move Team Supervisor is responsible for helping the Move Team Manager with leading the operations and the Move Team employees. Functions as primary Dispatcher for aircraft moves in collaboration with the SOC Gate Manager. As a Supervisor, you will also develop standard operating procedures for the safe and efficient execution of all Move Team responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide feedback and documentation to the Move Team Manager to support regularly scheduled performance reviews with employees in order to maintain expected performance levels. You will also collaborate with cross-divisional leadership to define and resolve operational problems or issues related to aircraft movement.
Maintains a current understanding of the scope of work for the Move Team operations; Assign and rotate employees between different roles each day
Data collection to show total moves and APU run times to present to Sr. Leadership
Identifies safety risks and produces a safety bulletin to correct hazard; Responsible for safety, security and regulatory compliance and training
Hires/trains Move Team employees in addition to maintaining employee skills in accordance with United Airline policies; Manages the oversight of employee training and intervenes as needed
LOSA/Mocha Audits
Ensures Move Team programs and initiatives comply with FAA, DOT, and corporate regulations including mandatory compliance training
Coordinates business with pertinent entities such as Ramp, Airport Authorities and UAX partners
Knowledge with investigating injuries, damage, GSAP etc; Completes review of procedures with employees related to preventing injuries, damage and GSE knowledge
Communicates with PA Ops, UPS, Terminal B and other entities to secure parking spots
Determines the sequence or priority of the moves
Communicates and coordinates with the move requestors such as Tech Ops, PA Ops, Terminal B etc; Communicates issues with moves - a/c not ready for pickup when tug arrived, maintenance issues with the tug, assistance needed from other departments (Tech Ops, Cabin Appearance etc.)
Ensures/tracking of moves, acknowledgment, and completion in a timely manner
Executes fallback procedures if the Dispatch Application fails – radio calls to the tug team and paper logs to record moves

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
2+ years experience in Hub operations
Airport ID, back ground check for customs and TSA
Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license
Able to hold a non-movement license from the airport, test required
Airport Operations
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members across the organization to create a collaborative work environment
Must be comfortable leading union represented employees
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, operations, logistics or a related field of study
Operational leadership experience in a hub environment
Experience leading and influencing a team
Knowledge of operations, management and logistics principles
RTS knowledge
Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Knowledge of ETA, frontline scheduler, SRA experience

The base pay range for this role is $75,970.80 to $92,853.20.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
