ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Senior Manager, Global Procurement (IT, Martech, Professional Services categories) at Audible, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives across the company. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored procurement strategies that align with the various business team's objectives and priorities. You lead the strategic sourcing process for IT, Martech, & Professional Services -focused on indirect spend categories. You will analyze spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities, managing the contract lifecycle, driving the adoption of procurement technologies and policies, providing strategic guidance to leadership, and continuously improving procurement policies, procedures, and metrics to elevate the function's strategic impact within your respective categories. You will act as trusted partner to the business, leveraging your unique blend of procurement expertise to enable their success and contribute to Audible's overall business objectives.
As a Senior Manager, Global Procurement, you will...
Facilitate cross-functional teams from differing levels of the organization regarding procurement-related services. Conduct/provide expertise to strategic sourcing, supplier selection, industry analysis and contract execution
Execute projects and support multiple categories of spend, specifically IT, MarTech, & Professional Services
Manage the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and provide consultation to senior management on supplier management, industry trends and strategic cost reduction opportunities
Analyze spending, identify new cost reduction opportunities within supported categories, and lead conversations with the business stakeholders regarding identified opportunities
Work collaboratively with the business and legal teams to execute contractual agreements
Develop and document complex project plans and lead others in executing project plans for key strategic sourcing events
Assist in the development of e-procurement policies and practices
Provide guidance to technology plans and programs designed to augment and support the procurement function
Conduct analysis and recommend changes to procurement processes and procedures, including appropriate communication and training
Collect relevant supplier performance metrics and provide input to the supplier performance review process
Monitor compliance with sourcing policies

Basic Qualifications
BA in business or another qualified field
5+ years in sourcing and procurement, spend analysis, e-commerce cataloguing and related standards within a tech organization
3+ years of management experience
Experience owning projects end to end within the Source to Contract lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to coach and develop teams, set stretch objectives, and evaluate performance against stated goals
Experience in MarTech, Professional Services, and/or IT categories
Ability to support different initiatives simultaneously and adaptable to changes in direction and priorities
Effective communication skills with ability to build relationships with resources outside of their department
Record of strong negotiation and analytical skills
Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into results
Highly motivated, drives results, and deals well with ambiguity
Experience in MarTech, Professional Services, and/or IT categories
