In partnership with our client, we are actively searching for a Player Coach to manage a territory and lead three Medical Device Sales Representatives to deliver on our commitment to serve patients.
This job posting is a pipeline requisition to gather resumes for a future role.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited school preferred. Associate degree or technical certification will be considered.
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales leadership in medical device and/or pharmaceutical sales required.
Minimum of 3- 5 years sales experience in medical device, acute hospital environment, or electrophysiology field experience required.
Experience with highly consultative, capital equipment and clinical sales preferred.
Seeks out hard projects with the ability to work independently.
Effective interpersonal skills, Comfortable in interacting with a very varied audience including clinicians at an advanced clinical application level.
Develops and delivers effective presentations.
Demonstrates persuasive Strategic Selling skills and excellent organizational ability.
Prior experience working and collaborating in an account team environment.
Clinical and technical aptitude to understand, train customers and sales staff on product use.
Demonstrated ability to manage a territory and develop strategic and tactical sales plan with keen ability to execute.
Capable of working an unpredictable schedule that may occasionally change on short notice due to schedule changes and/or delays.
Consistent track record of exceeding sales objectives
Proven ability to examine business environment, interpret territory analytics and team insights to assess business opportunities and drive sales results.
Strong account management and superior selling skills focused on providing a high level of customer service.
Opportunistic, driven and proven ability to find ways to win in ambiguous environment.
Ability to travel overnight up to 50% within continental US
Player-Coach Role & Responsibilities
Lead, train, coach, and develop a team of three device representatives while managing a territory
Point of contact between client and the field representatives
Recruit, interview, and select device representatives
Work closely with representatives to evaluate business conditions and sales trends.
Develop quarterly business plans to assist with targeting exercises
Lead team to successfully meet business objectives set forth by the client
Maintain & monitor accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and field sales reports required.
Hold scheduled performance review with device sales representatives
Sales Role and Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed sales revenue target.
Submit monthly forecasts to management.
Develop expertise in the clinical and workflow benefits to build and coach champions. within the electrophysiology lab.
Support the customers clinical objectives and initiatives.
Persistently target new business using analytical tools
Conduct product evaluations, collect detailed data points, and in-service to drive targeted customer conversions.
Prospect, qualify, close, develop and cultivate major accounts and product sales.
Educate customers on products, concepts & industry trends.
Increase product usage at existing accounts and expand customer base.
Visit top direct hospital accounts and service providers to establish relationships with all call points and decision makers.
Provide product feedback to Sales, Marketing and R&D including customer feedback on product enhancements, service and policies through direct feedback as well as evaluation and trial assessments and competitive developments.
Resolve customer concerns through accurate and timely investigation, developing solutions, implementing and executing solutions.
Provide data to Sales, Marketing & R&D for specific recommendations that require input from key stakeholders.
Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. Includes tradeshows and industry events.
Follow all applicable regulatory guidelines and hospital protocols for medical device representatives.

The potential base pay range for this role is 95,000-105,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
