Flowserve is an American multinational corporation and one of the largest suppliers of industrial and environmental machinery, from pumps and seals to valves, actuation and instrumentation, to energy recovery devices and hydraulic decoking systems, and more, our products help plants overcome the toughest flow control challenges. The Quick Response Center (QRC) Engineer will provide engineering and technical assistance to operations personnel, sales and customers to develop the best possible repair and upgrade solutions to aftermarket jobs. Responsible for technical interpretation of specifications, procedures, policies, quality, and equipment reliability to concerned parties.

Responsibilities :
Involved in selection of components and assemblies to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Dealing with pump repairs, upgrades, design, mechanical seals, seal auxiliary systems, drivers and other specified components.
Preparing project plans in accordance with customer/contract requirements.
Prepares, checks and releases technical job drawings/documentation.
Supports operations concerning all engineering issues.
Requirements :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Interest on design of Turbo-machinery or Rotating Equipment
Knowledge of Ms Excel, and ability to be able to take real benefit from the computer tools to gain efficiency in the daily work
Fluent in English in both verbal and written communication is required; other languages are a plus
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Acting as a team player. Persistent, creative and service mentality are also important skills
Desirable:
Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Machine Design Fundamentals
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor etc.
Customer oriented, experience in front of customer to solve technical issues
ERP (Oracle or SAP) knowledge
Experience with programming around Ms Office applications
Fundamental understanding of pump applications and types, a clear understanding of hydraulic fundamentals and how these relate to pumps and pump systems
General knowledge of metallurgical requirements & applications
