JPMorgan Chase Trading Services Specialist in Newark, Delaware

Apply today for this exciting opportunity to work with back and front offices at J.P. Morgan. You will work directly with the Trading Desk, Relationship Managers, as well as interact with the security lending borrowers.

As a Securities Lending Trade Support Specialist, in Trading Services Operations, you will need to interact with our Counterparties to address pending / failing settlements, process buy-ins, and resolve instruction matching issues. You need to become familiar with the settlement conventions within the markets they support and will be required to manage processes associated with pending client trades, failing market trades and related functions as part of a global Trade Support organization. This job is fast paced, and can lead to opportunities within J.P. Morgan.

Job responsibilities

  • Monitor failing sales daily.

  • Reach out to borrowers to discuss failing recalls

  • Manage Buy-ins, including partials and generate reporting for management.

  • Review failing recalls for re-rating.

  • Facilitate cash fronting transactions.

  • Initiate new loan fail cancelations.

  • Perform reconciliation of internal dashboards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate clearly with the borrowers.

  • Work well under pressure.

  • Fast decision-making ability.

  • Excellent sense of prioritization

  • Work well within a team.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Back-office experience a plus

  • Ability to streamline processes and rewrite procedures.

Work schedule

  • This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change
