The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of quality control and inspection within an AS9100/NADCAP-certified manufacturing environment. This role includes managing, enhancing, and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The Quality Assurance Manager will also be responsible for training and supporting facility personnel, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

What You'll Do (Essential Job Functions):
Oversee, support, and guide QA and QC personnel
Oversee, improve, and maintain the quality systems and processes; holds responsibility for the effectiveness of the QMS
Manage communications to customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies regarding product quality, contractual compliance, regulatory/industry best practice, and customer satisfaction
Coordinate and oversee internal, customer, and third-party quality system audits
Lead corrective action system to analyze and correct nonconforming product and/or process, including verifying the effectiveness of associated RCCA and MRB efforts and implementation
Assess and monitor supplier quality
Direct internal audit programs and efforts
Serve as Management Representative for AS9100 and NADCAP accreditations
Support contract review process
Work collaboratively with Operations and Program Management to ensure internal, industry, and customer specifications are reasonably and efficiently identified and executed upon
Identify, lead, support, and/or implement continuous improvement efforts
Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring (Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Exposure to NADCAP desired
Demonstrated experience leading, engaging, and developing quality technicians and engineers
Strong presentation, communication, and computer skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
Demonstrated MBR authority and participation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints; demonstrated competency with GD&T
Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
BS degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Equivalent experience and certifications may substitute degree requirement.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment
Minimum of 10 years of related quality and manufacturing experience
Minimum 5 years of exposure/experience with AS9100

Job Information:
This is a full-time, permanent position. This position is eligible for the employer-sponsored benefits listed under "Vitesse Systems is Proud to Offer." This position is considered exempt (paid on a salaried basis and ineligible for overtime pay).
Pay range: $120,000-$170,000 based on qualifications and experience.
