responsibilities:

  • Works with study team to ensure high quality of data is maintained by assisting with data review (per data review plan) assigned and overseen by the supervising medical monitor in the study. Data review could be safety or efficacy or any other assigned by and supervised by medical monitor.

  • Assists medical monitor in other study related tasks as required, such as creation of PowerPoints for safety surveillance meetings, literature reviews, data cleaning, review of training materials, etc.

  • There is no interaction with regulatory authorities, or in general no interaction with site staff.

qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical degree (M.D./D.O. or equivalent).

  • Possesses the ability to critically evaluate medical/scientific information.

  • Understands the design, development, and execution of clinical programs and studies.

  • Capacity to adapt to a fast pace and changing environment.

  • No pharmaceutical industry experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Training and experience in infectious diseases and/or infection control in the hospital setting is preferred.

  • Experience with investigational clinical trials is preferred.

  • Experience with investigational clinical trials systems ( i.e INFORM, J-review) is preferred.

  • Experience with excel, word document, PowerPoint is preferred.
