Citigroup US Holdco Treasury Entities Management - Sr Lead Analyst - C14/SVP in New York, New York

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a Global Treasury programme of processes supporting efficient Liquidity, Capital and Resolution management. US Holding Co and Cross affiliate Treasury is comprised of Citigroup Stand alone and Citicorp LLC, the primary Intermediate Holding Company for Citigroup. Cross affiliate Treasury oversees and executes Intercompany Funding, Standby letters of Credit, Backstop facilities, Guarantees, Parental support comfort letters and Resolution planning deliverables to support the Strategic initiatives of Citi's Global network.

This role will closely follow latest trends in Large G-SIB Treasury disciplines and adapts them for application within the scope of the job and the franchise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Accountable for significant direct Treasury support of Citi’s Strategy and supporting the Treasury team lead in providing authoritative advice regarding the operations of the cross-affiliate Treasury management.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and review of Legal entity capital requests, Cross-affiliate funding and facilities requests for recommendation of Senior Treasury management approval.

  • Resolution and Recovery plan submission material preparation including key reports to refresh chapters for every regulatory submission.

  • Contingent funding & Capital plan material preparation articulating IHC management actions.

  • Analysis of Treasury impacts on Legal vehicle re-structuring initiatives related to changes in tax rules, emerging/ongoing resolution requirements, legal entity simplification, and acquisition/divestiture activity.

  • Analysis of Legal entity transfer pricing for Funding and Capital.

  • ​Execution, review and recommendation for approval of firm-wide Corporate Guarantee requests

  • M&A support for major acquisition/divestiture/joint venture initiatives.

  • Treasury support for Global Operations and technology initiatives, including Citi Ventures Inc.

The position will require both individual analytical work as well as partnership across teams to identify solutions in a timely manner and own the implementation / execution steps to autonomously drive open issues to completion. The job environment will be fast paced and fluid, with the successful candidate capable of effectively handling shifting / conflicting priorities.

Exposure into various facets of Risk and Finance Processes within Citi; interacting with various levels within the organization.

  • Interaction with a Global team of Treasury professionals, Controllers and Legal teams, Risk management and Internal audit partners

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 plus years of experience working for a financial services organization of similar scale and breadth as Citi's Global network

  • Proficiency with standard analysis tools (Excel / Access / SQL)

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of fundamental Balance Sheet Treasury considerations as it relates to Banking and Markets Products

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree. CFA or MBA a plus

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
