The Marketing Channel Strategy & Revenue Optimization team is responsible for maximizing the revenue of Wells Fargo's marketing channels while curating best-in-class experiences for our customers - supporting owned media, email, search engine optimization, next best conversation strategy, experimentation, and paid media enablement.

As a Strategic Business Manager, you will lead in a role equivalent to a chief of staff in our marketing center of excellence supporting all of our consumer facing businesses. You will be a thought partner to the Marketing leadership team and peer teams to track progress on our goals, authoring leadership communications, support organization evolution and lead our risk and controls book of work. You will also head cross-channel strategies to help us improve and operationalize processes to improve ways of working.

This is a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of Wells Fargo marketing, build strong cross-functional relationships with leaders across the enterprise, and quickly drive meaningful impact at an organizational level. This is a multifaceted role that will require an exceptional degree of business savvy as you help to shape the brand of the Enterprise Marketing Services organization through your ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance and be curious and deliver with excellence. A broad understanding of marketing will be necessary to support deliverables within a large, complex, regulated organization. An exceptional eye for fine details and ability to interact at a senior-executive level and maintaining oversight on projects, initiatives, and deliverables ensuring consistency and execution.

In this role, you will:

  • Be the central point of contact and have responsibility for risk and controls routines, RSCA planning as we build out new functions and processes across the 6 team functions (Digital Owned Media, Email, Audience Decisioning, Paid Media, Search Engine Optimization, and Experimentation Optimization)

  • Lead the establishment of cross-channel consistent governance process, routines and revenue tracking with collaborative routines for owned channels

  • Be responsible for the build out and operationalizing of executive level routines, business unit reviews and stakeholder interlocks across the enterprise

  • Support cross-functional team on annual planning and joint goal creation and tracking

  • Responsible for collecting content, data and authoring weekly stakeholder emails

  • Maintain monthly OKR tracking

  • Key contact for business resiliency, finance and HR

  • Facilitate and manage agendas and content for town halls, coordinate deliverables across the team, and drive accountability for follow-ups

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ yearsofexperience in amarketing, strategy, consulting, or similar role

  • Familiarity with Marketing strategy and operations

  • Demonstrated experience as a business manager, chief of staff, consultant, or equivalent, preferably within a financial services or marketing organization

  • Experience in authoring leadership communications at a senior-executive level

  • Superb writing, meeting facilitation,PowerPoint, and overall communication skills

  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilitieswith deep storytelling experience

  • Able to effectively communicate with in small groups and large strategicforums

  • Proven track record of getting things done from strategy to execution

  • Exceptional ability to work effectively cross-functionally, influence and bring others along

  • Energized by highly-matrix organizations and challenges

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, across multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • This role offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

New York City - Pay Range: $133,300 - 237,100 annually

  • May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards.
