Amazon Sr. Program Manager, Internal Communications, Hub Delivery in New York, New York

The Hub Delivery product allows local small businesses to partner with Amazon to provide flexible and cost-effective delivery service to delight customers globally. This is an emerging Amazon Logistics delivery channel, and is on an exponential growth trajectory globally. The Sr. Program Manager, Internal Communications leads internal communications efforts and provides program management to critical communications-related business initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develops and executes the internal communications strategy, including how we use internal channels (wikis, flashes, All Hub Delivery meetings, best practice forums, lunch & learns, newsletters, etc.) to improve internal communications.

  • Authors and provides editorial/content design support for widely distributed internal communication, including the WW Hub Delivery wiki content, WW business flashes, internal newsletters, All Hub Delivery meeting content, etc.

  • Develops and maintains the mechanisms to keep WW Hub Delivery wiki content current, develops the content roadmap and calendar, bar raises new content additions, manages content approval workstreams, and removes outdated content.

  • Provides editorial oversight to widely distributed leadership communication (e.g., goals, xBRs, OPx documents, etc.), reviewing/editing for grammar, style, and form to ensure it aligns with Amazon's writing standards.

  • Standardizes the intra-team communications mechanisms, including evaluating/optimizing the current mechanisms and the SOPs.

  • Sets content goals and implements measurement plans to evaluate communications-related data and improves communication effectiveness.

  • Partners with internal communications teams across Amazon and hosts/participates in learning sessions to share internal communication insights, tools, and best practices.

  • Leads internal communications-related projects, develops the project plans and tracks the actions.

The Hub Delivery Partner program is part of Amazon's fast growing and always evolving rural and urban delivery program. We partner with customer obsessed small business owners who then deliver to Amazon customers. Our partners raise the bar for the delivery experience, in some of the most complex last mile scenarios!

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
