This role is part of the team responsible for managing reporting products for the adserver used by the biggest names in TV. The role will involve understanding a complex industry, and producing designs for features across a range of product offerings to ensure that we are able to provide scalable, reliable and low latency reporting on the key metrics our clients use to run their business, for financial reporting, and internal operational tools. Our systems process billions of records per day and cope with the scale of major live events from the Super Bowl to the World Cup. This role will need to be able to blend a highly technical and analytical approach to understanding business requirements and working closely with engineering to develop solutions that meet these needs, while balancing cost, speed and reliability. This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of staff.

Job Description

  • Responsible for product management activities for the portfolio of reporting products.

  • Identify client issues and be able to come up with constructive solutions, and turn that into high-quality product designs.

  • Partner with other product teams to collaborate on existing and potential features and functionalities focused on supporting high impact projects.

  • Partner with engineering team to manage product backlog, do sprint planning, and deliver products on time.

  • Make high-quality product designs, writes design specs, review design specs with engineering team, articulates market problems, use cases, requirements and feature details.

  • Align with each product verticals to support their business needs with reporting products.

  • Maintain products rolled out, collect feedback and continuously improve products to defend our core values.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent.

  • 5+ years working experience .

  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and excellent analytical skills.

  • Hands on experience with developing large scale data products.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Engineering background is a plus.

  • Machine learning experience is a plus

Core Responsibilities

  • Internalizes and represents the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinates across other functional areas to secure buy-in to deliver on the defined end-to-end customer experience.

  • Performs competitive analysis and conducts market research. Maintains updated view of key competitive changes.

  • Teams with product development to deliver high quality products on time.

  • Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to product content, pricing, packaging and features. Participate in defining product business and functional requirements.

  • Assists in budgeting and variance analysis of product's unit and financial performance, with goal of identifying opportunities and risks.

  • Drafts and manages requirements and other supporting business documentation (such as use cases, possibly M&Ps (methods and procedures), executive summaries etc.).

  • Leads concepts defining an end-to-end customer experience and expected full lifecycle costs.

  • Contributes to the product vision across team and the organization.

  • Conducts feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis (i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable).

  • Manage change requests. Validates downstream deliverables and final offering (business acceptance testing).

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree
