Reporting to the Director, Marketplace Intelligence; the Senior Manager will help support the Strategy team and broader sales organization in three ways by: 1) applying quantitative skills in analyzing clients across the market to identify opportunities and threats in ad spend; 2) monitor and analyze the competitive marketplace using both qualitative insights and quantitative assessments and; 3) convey macro trends and findings into insightful materials that showcase their potential impact to marketers and internal Sales stakeholders. The incumbent will help the team deliver unique and compelling insights and analytics to support the broader strategy for the sales organization. Some responsibilities include but not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and ongoing enhancement of forecasting efforts
Proactively use data to uncover and quantify sales opportunities for sales teams
Proactively use data to generate compelling analytics and insights to support client communication and marketing strategies
Coordinate and collaborate across the organization to build compelling client/agency facing materials in support of the sales organization
Procure, clean and ingest data for mid to large scale analytic projects
Aid in procuring and testing new data sources
Test validity of current data and analytic approaches
Create and manage tracking documents for internal distribution/communication
Develop knowledge of the entire NBCUniversal portfolio
Track and develop a point of view on macro trends (economic, social) and their impact to the advertising market
BA/BS or equivalent experience in Social Science, Economics, Statistics or similar field of study, Masters ideal
4+ years of relevant experience (including internships)

Salary Range: $95,000-$125,000, Bonus Eligible
