Full Job DescriptionFactSet is looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer - Mercury Front-end Developer to join Team FPS within the Dealmakers & Wealth department. As part of the core Mercury team, FPS is critical in driving the company’s AI initiatives, developing cutting-edge solutions that leverage natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) to enhance user experiences and streamline navigation across our products.In this role, you’ll work with modern web technologies and AI-driven solutions, collaborating closely with engineering teams, UX designers, and product developers to deliver seamless, high-performing, and maintainable applications. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company’s flagship AI product.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies, integrating NLP and ML-powered services into applications.Work closely with the product team and engineering peers to identify and implement solutions that bring direct value to clients.Collaborate with product developers and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements and designs into effective technical solutions.Follow Agile Software Development principles, participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold high code quality standards.Minimum Qualifications:1+ years of hands-on full-stack web development experience in production environments.Critical Skills:Strong understanding of Vue 2 or Vue3, Composition API, and Pinia/Vuex for state management.Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, ability to write type-safe, scalable, and maintainable code with TypeScript.Experience working with RESTful APIsExperience in developing web service using C#Familiarity with PostgreSQLAdditional / Desired Skills:Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New York is $92,000 - $120,000kAt FactSet, we celebrate diversity of thought, experience, and perspective.
