Insight Global Senior Systems Engineer in New York, New York
Job Description
Insight Global's financial services client is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in NYC! This person will help support and improve the Windows and VMware server infrastructure and related services including cloud services and virtualization platforms. There will be a large focus on improvement and modernization utilizing scripting. This person will be the technical lead and be assigned to projects as well as taking care of BAU tasks. This candidate should keep an eye on streamlining tasks via automation to improve efficiency within the team. Lastly, they should also be looking to improve processes/procedures within the team as well as being well read/researched in their technical fields.

Skills and Requirements
-8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in an enterprise environment (supporting 1,000+ servers)
-Expertise in VMware (VCF or Cloud Foundation experience is a huge plus)
-Strong scripting ability with PowerShell (writing complex scripts from scratch is a plus)
-Prior experience leading technical projects such as a migration or upgrade
-Self starter mindset - ability to analyze and provide recommendations -Office365 and Exchange
-Linux/Unix
-Ansible experience null
