Senior Salesforce Functional Architect
The impact:
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Cloud CRM subject matter expert to take on a leadership role within the S&P Salesforce Architecture team.
Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following day-to-day challenges,
Lead and facilitate discovery and scoping sessions with business leaders and project team.
Develop functional requirements document and validate business process flows.
Map functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionalities
Mentor junior team members in business analysis, project management, and Salesforce.com best practices
Understand business processes and potential constraints (budget, timeline, expertise, etc.) to define optimal and reasonable project scope, expectations, and timeline estimates
Incorporate past experiences, business savvy, creative and out-of-the-box thinking in designing solutions; offer multiple, potential solutions
Coordinate with Technical Architects, integration and data team, and others, as needed, for specific technical design requirements
Evaluate third-party applications and provide recommendations to the business.
Assist with the Security review and procurement of new tools and packages.
Manage expectations with business stakeholders, technology leadership, as well as other 3rd parties - i.e., be able to influence and guide toward successful outcome.
Own the solution and provide architectural oversight of the solution throughout the project
Provide guidance and advisory support to the project team on implementation approach
Participate in QA/UAT checkpoints during delivery to provide guidance and ensure the solution aligns with the original scope
Lead project status meetings
Contribute to estimating and SOW reviews
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years experience in project management, business analysis, and technology implementation in full life-cycle CRM engagements
Minimum of 5 years experience with Salesforce.com
Bachelor’s degree
Good understanding of Sales and Service Processes in B2B setting
Salesforce Certified
Professional Skill Requirements:
Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership and management skills
Location: Hybrid NY (2-3 days onsite)
Right to work requirements : This role is limited for candidates with indefinite right to work within the USA.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $155,000 - $175,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
