Pzena Investment Management LLC Senior Research Analyst in New York, New York
Conduct rigorous, in-depth analysis on potential new investments for the firm through industry research, review of public filings, and meetings with senior management. Work with internal colleagues and outside experts on new investment research, setting the direction and proposed workplans for this research. Perform value-oriented fundamental equities research. Synthesize data into financial models, summarize issues, and effectively communicate information and investment recommendations throughout multiple industries. Manage coverage of portfolio companies in multiple industries on a global basis and analyze and monitor industry- and company-level developments on an ongoing basis for companies within Pzena’s investment portfolio. Steer final investment decisions concerning buying and selling to consensus through discussion of key issues and review of financial models. Mentor Research Analysts and Research Interns. Collaborate with Pzena’s marketing team to act on research results and provide financial reports and analysis to clients. Work with Bloomberg, CapIQ, FactSet, Comcise, ISS, and AlphaSense.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with synthesizing data into financial models. Two (2) years of the qualifying experience must include experience with communicating investment recommendations; CapIQ; FactSet; Comcise; ISS; and Bloomberg.
Minimum Salary: 225,000 Maximum Salary: 295,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
