The Team: As a member of the recruitment (People Movement) team, you will work closely with team members in the Americas region and across the globe. This is a dynamic team, that strives on individual and team development, we provide countless opportunities to learn transferable skills & global recruitment best practices.

The Impact: This role is key to ensuring the successful recruitment of high-quality and diverse talent for S&P Global Ratings. In working with us, you will be exposed to a professional, high-level consultative environment across multiple job families and beyond talent acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a full recruitment process; including internal and external talent sourcing, professional recruitment screenings, talent pipeline development, and offer negotiation.

  • Educate and influence business leaders and HR to actively adopt and promote recruitment best practices.

  • Provide expert advice, data/metrics, market intelligence, and recommendations to hiring leaders to support key recruiting decisions.

  • Focus on new and innovative techniques to ensure a positive candidate experience, for both hired and declined candidates, to reinforce the S&P brand reputation.

  • Manage relationships with S&P Global Ratings business leaders and HR partners in the Americas.

  • Utilize talent analytics to improve key recruitment metrics such as Internal Mobility, Diversity, Hiring Leader Satisfaction Score or Time to Fill.

  • Stay informed on, and adhere to, the global SPGI policies; Immigration, Relocation, Agency, Referrals, and Offer Letters.

  • Work with Rewards, Legal, Benefits, Relocation, and Immigration in an effective, efficient manner.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of S&P business and industry.

  • Attend DEI events and career fairs to attract diverse talent.

  • Work with external agencies when required, within a controlled framework.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,872 to $145,540. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of corporate recruiting within financial services and/or credit roles to guarantee a good understanding of the industry and associated talent market trends.

  • Experience with ATS/HR systems (Workday preferred).

  • Proficient in sourcing techniques available to internal recruiters, from generating internal applications and quality referrals to approaching external talent directly.

  • Demonstrated ability to educate, advise and influence stakeholders, and to drive and deliver tangible results for the business.

  • Excellent analytical skills to analyze resumes, assess candidate qualifications, and make informed decisions quickly.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.

  • Be able to network effectively, establish rapport with candidates, and cultivate relationships that can lead to referrals and a strong talent pipeline.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure that expectations are clear, feedback is constructive, and relationships are built on trust.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
