Senior Product Manager, Courier & Dispatch (Wonder Group, Inc., New York, NY)

Help generate short- and long-term roadmaps for Courier App and system integration features and improvements. Work with stakeholders to prioritize features/requests against competing priorities. Own product features in terms of in the feature definition, prioritization, testing and measuring impact. Work collaboratively to build new features and improve existing features while collaborating with other PMs, engineers, product designers and other stakeholders to deliver products and features. Translate product requirements and bugs into JIRA tickets and collaborate with our engineers to build new features. Develop a strong grasp of the competitive landscape and courier/delivery space. Analyze user data to generate user insights to assist in the prioritization and optimization of our Courier products and feature. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to lead team in agile scrum rituals like sprint planning, daily standups, and backlog grooming. Research market and product landscape to inform future roadmap and product features. Demonstrate strong verbal communication within the product and engineering teams and outbound to stakeholders and the larger organization. Help analyze impact of new features by setting up A/B tests with Product Analytics team and engineering. Minimal occasional domestic travel required to company sites. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $199,500 - $212,625 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management or related., plus 4 years of professional experience in software or hardware product development, including writing product requirements documents, statements of processes, release notes, and communications documents throughout the product development cycle.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, employer will accept a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related, plus 2 years of professional experience in software or hardware product development, including writing product requirements documents, statements of processes, release notes, and communications documents throughout the product development cycle.

Must also have the following: 2 years of professional experience ideating product and go-to market strategy, shipping features, and using data and metrics to validate assumptions and assess outcomes; 2 years of professional experience building and scaling software systems in a fast-paced environment including leading agile projects; 2 years of professional experience estimating financial, product, and operational outcomes to identify and select product and development strategies; and 1 year of professional experience working with stakeholders including engineering, technology, operations, and design teams to support mobile app development.
