Wells Fargo Senior Network Engineer - B2B Migrations in NEW YORK, New York

About This Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (SNE) to facilitate the migration of enterprise Business to Business (B2B), third party network connectivity supporting our Data Center exits into a new Data Center model. The Senior Network Engineer will research existing B2B connectivity/configurations, propose new B2B product solutions based on existing or updated business needs. SNE will design, implement and validate in accordance with our latest architectural design standards, implementation and validation through best practices. These migrations must be executed during business approved change green-zones, (non-business hours). Application validation per B2B connection must occur before and after each migration change window. SNE must have deep vertical command line interface expertise in both Cisco and Arista Networking products as well as Cyber security Firewalls appliances that include CheckPoint, Palo Alto and Fortinet. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic approach to collaboration and a passionate approach to operational excellence.

In This Role:

Design & Execute B2B migrations via the Wells Fargo Service Now change control process, assist on mitigating risk by proactively addressing capacity or configuration concerns by comparing existing and new design standards. Participate within an Agile methodology approach from a project management & engineering perspective. Key phases consist of but not limited to Architectural Design preparation, Technical Design Review & Approval, Migration Planning & Change Review/Approval, Implementation & testing with Operational turnover.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environment.

  • 4+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP, Static) in a large enterprise environment

  • 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, military experience, education.

  • 4+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching latest platforms and solutions - Cisco Nexus and/or Arista product line.

Desired Qualifications:

  • CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred - Datacenter.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / engineering and/or 4+ Years of Networking Experience

  • Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams.

  • Experience with scripting YAML/Python/Ansible/GITHUB

  • Experience working in a Product/Agile environment utilizing Atlassian Jira products.

  • Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now

  • Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship building skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio Professional

  • Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration.

  • Ability to make decisions quickly in a high-volume hosting environment.

  • Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues.

  • Ability to drive flawless execution.

Job Expectations:

  • Full-time Telecommuting is not an option for this position.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.

  • Relocation assistance in not available for this position

  • Execute changes on the Wells Fargo network via the Wells Fargo change control process, assist on mitigating risk for the enterprise by proactively addressing capacity problems or system related issues, participate in enterprise level projects from an engineering perspective and responsible for Design, reviewing, implementing, testing/validating, and researching industry best practices.

  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • The salary range for this role in New York is $100,800 to $179,200 and is based on qualifications and experience.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
