Senior Lead, Business Partner (Multiple Positions) - Shopify (USA) Inc. (New York, NY)Provide directions on the HR processes to drive and optimize employees for consistent and strong business results. Determine short-term and long-term strategies of the HR function. Work on development and succession planning for Shopify’s R&D team to ensure Shopify has the leadership capacity it needs in the future to achieve its market share and revenue goals. Set a vision on how Shopify’s HR Program will be governed, ensuring alignment with business strategy within established budgets and timelines. Manage issues with terminations, including the legal aspects of it and severances involved. Provide managerial input on brand risks related to employment issues. Identify any external trends that will affect employees and determine best strategy to minimize impact. Set the direction and culture of teams. Manage product roadmaps, tasks, and deadlines. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S. up to 100% of the time.SALARY: $238,098 - $261,907 base salary per year.WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Manage all aspects of HR program including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, data and analytics, employee relations, talent development and learning; Provide individual and team assessments; Perform executive and leadership coaching; Manage recruitment and hiring; Align HR with business strategies, focusing on regulatory compliance, consistent processes and driving results via metrics; Performing functional gap analysis, and facilitating succession planning decisions; and Managing employee relations, investigations, and regulatory compliance.Travel to various locations throughout the U.S./ international required up to 5%.Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S. up to 100% of the time.TO APPLY: Email resume to shopifyjobs@shopify.com and specify requisition number 40957733 in the subject line.
