Job Summary

The Senior Director IT Business Partners & PMO oversees the relationship between IT and the Business Units and manages the IT Project Management Office. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that IT initiatives align with business goals and priorities, as well as ensuring that IT projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline. The Business Partner role serves as a strategic partner for assigned Business Units, focusing on developing business-technology services, managing risks, and fostering relationships. Additionally, the Project Management Office is responsible for managing all major IT and joint IT and Business Unit projects, including evaluating initiatives and bringing together IT, Security, and Business leads to review requirements and set priorities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with important business leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Know the business needs, challenges, and opportunities and turn them into IT solutions and roadmaps
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the IT business partner team and the project management office
  • Manage the portfolio of IT projects and programs and ensure alignment with the IT strategy and the business objectives
  • Set up and track key performance indicators and metrics for IT project delivery and business value realization
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, policies, standards, and best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in IT processes, services, and solutions
  • Stay up to date with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices and assess their applicability and feasibility for the organization
  • Liaise with business peers and IT staff to help in resolving problems with processes and the associated solutions
  • Meet with decision-makers, system/infrastructure owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operational requirements and systems goals
  • Participate in the evaluation of vendor software targeted for possible integration into the systems or environment, including strategic applications, tools, and utilities
  • Participate in value management for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions
  • Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise by providing instruction and training to users on processes and system tools to perform their jobs
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information and adhere to company security policies
  • Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to continually align the project with business objectives

Job Requirements

  • Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field bachelor's degree
  • At least 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a Senior IT leadership position
  • Demonstrated experience in IT business partnership, IT strategy, IT project management, and IT service delivery
  • Solid knowledge of IT project management methods, tools, and best practices
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate, and cooperate with senior leaders, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Project Management (PMP), IT Service Management (ITIL), or Business Analysis (CBAP) certification is desired

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively
  • Ability to guide, mentor, and grow a high-achieving IT team
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure and application principles; more advanced knowledge of networking and data center experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of new product development best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convince and influence the decision-making of individuals and groups and to explain complex issues
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Knowledge of financial modeling as it relates to technology investment using return on investment and value analysis
  • Up to 5% of domestic and international travel

The Compensation range for this role is 160, 773.30 - 321, 546.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
