Senior Data Scientist (Foot Locker Corporate Services, Inc)( New York, NY): Participate in formulating, prioritizing, and leading initiatives to contextualize and solve the most challenging problems in Foot Locker’s analytical portfolio. Understand business problems and take part in designing end to end analytics use cases. Partner with business tech leads to implement reusable and robust solutions. Applying machine-learning, data mining, and information retrieval principles to design, prototype and building the next generation analytics engine and services. Partner with data science leadership and engagement teams to present solutions and insights to business. Help maintain and track project goals and road- maps. Collaborate with software and data engineers to implement and deploy scalable solutions. Develop complex models and algorithms that drive innovation throughout the organization. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Informatics or a closely related field plus 2 years of relevant experience as a data scientist or similar role, working with big data and machine learning in a retail setting. Experience must include the following: Supervised and unsupervised learning techniques including variable selection, feature engineering, model generation, model diagnostics, hyperparameter tuning and deployment; Neural Networks, NLP and Econometrics; Spark/SQL, pyspark, databricks; and Agile methodologies and continuous delivery. Telecommuting position with no geographic limitation as long as worker is based in the U.S. Salary range: $160,000-$180,000 /annually.
