KKR Credit Advisors (US) LLCJOB TITLE: Principal (multiple positions available)LOCATION: 30 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001. DUTIES: Oversee and perform asset allocation analyses to evaluate relative value opportunities within private markets and create indicators utilizing market data and proprietary financial data prepared by Analysts and Associates. Oversee and track portfolio investments, utilizing financial data modeling and valuation analyses conducted by Analysts, Associates and external professional service providers for developing credit situations to identify industry developments, market movements and identify and classify the potential risks of investments or lending. Provide asset allocation recommendations and drive various quantitative financial performance and financial risk initiatives for various KKR client solutions mandates. Lead portfolio construction initiatives for KKR’s Private Market strategies and supervise and manage Analysts and Associates while working closely with Portfolio Managers (PMs) in performing comprehensive portfolio analyses to assess portfolio exposure to sectors, risk factors, investment types, credit qualities, and other financial elements. Work with PMs to identify, source, research, analyze, structure, and execute private markets investment opportunities globally and in the United States. Oversee, maintain and continue to evaluate and improve upon customized financial models tailored to the firm’s investment process and risk framework and work closely with dedicated IT resources to automate and institutionalize these critical financial models and make critical recommendations to improve systems and processes. Attend industry conferences and Firm-sponsored investor events, interacting with investors, clients and limited partners.REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Merchant Banking Associate, Investment Banking Analyst, Private Equity Associate, or related occupation within financial services industry. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a Merchant Banking Associate, Investment Banking Analyst, Private Equity Associate, or related occupation within financial services industry.This position requires three (3) years of experience with: building complex financial models to evaluate private and public investments in the following securities: Debt, Preferred Equity, Convertible Preferred Equity, and Common Equity, including dynamic scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and using financial modeling software; modeling fundamental trends including profit margins, Revenue/EBITDA growth, leverage, and interest coverage; modeling various risk factors including interest rates and broader economic indicators; conducting due diligence for credit and structured equity investments, including assessing operational, financial, legal, and regulatory factors; identifying key value drivers, potential risks, and mitigation strategies; working closely with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and uncover insights critical to informed investment decisions; structuring bespoke debt and structured equity instruments; negotiating terms and conditions, analyzing legal documentation, and collaborating with legal and financial advisors to mitigate risks and enhance investment returns; providing investment recommendations to portfolio managers with a focus on value creation, performance optimization, and exit strategies; developing and implementing strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and restructuring plans to enhance the performance and value of portfolio companies.Full-time. $195,000 - $210,000 per year.
