Position Summary
The PT Track Leader (TL) with Pace University’s Precollege Immersion Program serves as a liaison between students and the administrative staff and faculty. Each Track Leader will act a chaperone for a group of high school students who are participating in the Precollege Immersion Program. TLs will live on -campus for 2 weeks, and supervise their cohort of students throughout the program. TL will assist with student move-in and orientation at the start of the program. Day-to-day activities during the 2 weeks include a nightly curfew and bed checks, breakfast and dinner, daily lunch and evening check-outs, evening presentations, off-campus tours around NYC , and final day check-out. TLs chaperone students during off-campus activities around NYC . They will also coordinate and lead social activities on-campus during the 2 weeks. TLs will need to be able to answer questions about student life at Pace, help organize academic and non-academic activities for students, assist professors upon request and handle any crisis or conflict issues.
Position Duties
Supervise a group of 8-10 high school rising junior and senior students who are 16-18 years old, participating in the Precollege Immersion Program.
Live in the dorms at the NYC campus for the 2 weeks of the program
Chaperone the students for off-campus activities
Lead and conduct social activities
Perform daily lunch and evening check-in and check-out
Perform daily curfew and bed checks
Be aware of and enforce University and Precollege policies for the well-being of the Precollege students
Handle crisis and student conflict issues
Be able aware of and be able to initiate protocol in case of an emergency

The Precollege Program will run from July 9th – 22nd The program will be held at the DT New York City campus. Move-in and training will be held July 5 – July 7 with an additional 1 -day training in June.
Hourly Rate Range $15.00 - $18.00/hour
