Job Description
The Online Sr Supply Manager is responsible of leading the supply planning, replenishment, and inventory optimization for the online sales channel. This role is critical to ensuring product availability, driving customer satisfaction, and supporting revenue growth in a dynamic, fast-paced e-commerce environment. This role will work cross-functionally with the Regional Supply Chain, Online Merchandising, Ecommerce Operations and other teams to align supply with promotional activity, sales forecast and inventory target.
Key responsibilities
End-to-end ownership of supply planning and replenishment for the online channel across all product categories
Lead the development and execution of inventory and replenishment strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize out-of-stocks and overstocks.
Collaborate with demand planning and e-commerce teams to align sales forecasts, campaign plans, and new product launches
Support system and process enhancements to scale online supply management and replenishment capabilities
Ensure inventory is available at the right location, at the right time, by managing inventory distribution across the network (regional DCs, 3PLs, drop-ship partners, etc.)
Continuously analyze sales velocity, lead times, and safety stock parameters to drive inventory optimization and increase forecast accuracy
Monitor KPIs including in-stock rate, inventory turnover, fulfillment rate, order fill rate, and forecast accuracy, and take corrective actions as needed
Provide leadership in supply risk management, proactively identifying potential disruptions (supplier constraints, port delays, etc.) and implementing mitigation plans
Coordinate with ecommerce, merchandising and finance teams to support inventory budgeting, seasonal planning, and assortment rationalization
Maintain and build relationships with key regional stakeholders to ensure service level adherence and flexibility during peak period
Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience in Ecommerce and or retail inventory
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
Strong understanding of time phased forecasting and replenishment systems
SAP/APO a plus
Ability to analyze and review large amount of data in Excel
Ability to work quickly on ad⁃hoc reporting and analyzing data in real time
Knowledge of inventory models and metrics
Deep understanding of retail planning and inventory management needs
Strong communication skills
Self⁃starter and ability to work independently
