DoorDash Merchandising Operations Specialist in New York, New York

About the Team

The Strategy & Operations Merchandising team owns the discovery experience or how users explore DoorDash. Our mission is to help DoorDash consumers connect with their communities and discover “what’s good” in their city. Our team designs strategy and executes initiatives to help consumers understand the breadth of services and goods available on DoorDash and feel that DoorDash is personalized, offering relevant recommendations with enough context to confidently place an order. We bring together a team across product, user research, marketing, analytics and operations to collaborate on platform and content projects that bring us closer to this vision.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail oriented, highly-motivated individual to help us execute initiatives that fuel consumer discovery on DoorDash. In this role, you will operationalize engaging marketing campaigns and innovative experiments, designed to help consumers explore new offerings. You will also execute playbooks to ensure best-in-class quality of merchandising content, so that DoorDash consumers can confidently decide what to order. This role will manage the day-to-day operations of in-app campaign setup, including creation and localization of assets, configuring target audiences and A/B experiments, and testing campaigns before launch.

You will report into a Senior Associate on our Merchandising team in our Strategy & Operations organization. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

California Pay Range:

$68,000 — $102,000 USD

New York Pay Range:

$68,000 — $102,000 USD
