AON Health Solutions Account Executive - Private Equity in New York, New York

Aon’s Health Solutions team helps clients strategically develop, implement, and manage their employee health and welfare programs. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions.

In this role, you will serve as the project and strategic lead for our Private Equity clients’ portfolio companies. Working with junior team members, you will help drive strategy, ensure clients’ plans are compliant, and complete special projects related to M&A activities. A typical day will include reviewing reports and client presentations, facilitating and participating in client meetings, responding to client inquiries, and ensuring that the team is meeting all deadlines.

This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in the New York City office 2-3 days per week.

What the day will look like

  • Manage client relationships, with overall accountability for accurate execution of deliverables, leveraging the client delivery team

  • Drive client strategy and lead carrier negotiations

  • Understand how current and new legislation impacts clients and communicate the impact to them in a timely manner

  • Participate on client calls and ensure that client activity logs are maintained and kept up to date with all issues and questions responded to in a timely manner

  • Understand and assist with developing plan projections and employee contribution scenarios, as appropriate

  • Understand new and local innovative solutions with traction in the marketplace and proactively present to clients, as appropriate

  • Delegate responsibilities effectively; coach and mentor team members

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Understanding of the healthcare marketplace with 10+years’ experience in Health and Benefits and/or experience in an HR consulting firm or professional services firm

  • Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strategic and critical thinking with respect to employee health and welfare benefits

  • Effective project management skills

  • Team building skills

  • Financial acumen (contribution modeling, underwriting, etc.)

  • Strong communication/presentation skills (written and verbal)

Salary range or hourly pay range for the position

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $170,000 - $200,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York City. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] [production incentives] in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] [production incentives] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
